ACT (American College of Thessaloniki) is seeking applications for a faculty position in Computer Science at the
rank of Assistant or Associate Professor who may also serve as the Coordinator
of the Science & Technology Division. In addition to teaching, the faculty
will provide high standard academic-related administrative support to the
programs under the guidance of the Chair of Science & Technology Division.
In return, the Coordinator will enjoy a reduced teaching load.
The position is a full-time assignment for one year and may be renewable upon
agreement of all parties.
We are seeking a full-time faculty with expertise in the broad area of
Software Engineering. There is particular interest in software development,
testing, requirements engineering, software architecture and evolution, software
quality, and human computer interactions. Coding proficiency in a range of
programming languages, like Java, Python, C#, Go, Node, Ruby, SharePoint, R,
SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop is expected as well as mastery of various development
methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall, RAD, etc.).
